No sun, but overcast and a few very light showers. Chilly with a steady wind from West and Northwest, thus a headwind we could feel.

Beschaffenheit
Almost the whole day on the dike along the Lek, as the Rhine is called here. Normally there were also cars, but few and slow, and there are narrow cyclelanes, marked by red tarmac on the road shoulder. The first stretch to Wijk bij Duurstede there were many cars on such a shoulder strip. Excellent signposting. Some planned detours due to canals, which have to be passed on locks. In Rotterdam there are bike paths everywhere and a moderate number of cyclists. A pleasure!
