Radtour Radurlaub am Rhein und nach Amsterdam

In the morning sunny, but overcast the rest of the day with a shower around midday and some more dripping later on. Chilly and fairly windy.

A day on Amsterdam's compehensive bike path net. As comprehensive as Rotterdam's, but an incredible cycle traffic plus especially many scooters and mopeds on the bike paths take some of the pleasure. The equipment was also more worn down and the bike parking is very sloppy. But nevertheless, Amsterdam is still a splendid city for biking with bikes everywhere and the right to go everywhere in (almost) every direction. A hurge crossroads with traffic lights with a special bike lane for left turning bikers on the left side of the car's straight lane is maybe the best bicycle solution I've ever seen in a big city.

Our first rest day of two in Amsterdam in order to experience and cycle in The Netherland's capital.
