Es bleibt noch etwas Zeit nach der Kurztour am Vormittag. Daher rücke ich vor nach Glan-Münchweiler, um die ersten km der nächsten 4-Tage/5-Flüsse (Glan, Nahe, Prims, Saar, Blies)-Runde bereits zu absolvieren. Ich reserviere im Hotel Pfälzer Hof in Lauterecken und fahre die ersten 33 km den Glan bequem, flott und landschaftlich schön in einem recht weiten Wiesental hinab. In Rutsweiler Steinbruch mit Zementfabrik. Nur zum Teil Bahntrassen-Radweg, aber stets gut zu fahren und durchgängig Asphalt. In Lauterecken hübsche Kleingärten und ordentlich zu essen.
