The Basilica and Shrine of Don Bosco is in Colle Don Bosco, near the town of Castelnuovo Don Bosco, in the province of Asti. It was built on a hilly area of the country in the period between 1961 and 1984, consecrated in honor of St. John Bosco, who was born in the town of Piedmont.
