Cycle Tour Bike weekend 2022

The annual traditional trip on two wheels for the three brothers of ours was due to take place under Michael's knowing leadership and had its base camp at the ecological farm of Bremsmaj at Soegaardsmark in the municipality of Aabenraa. Before we conquered the large appartmente there, the task was on my behalf a speedy cycling tour across Funen and Als before meeting Michael just before the ferry to Jutland, where Bernhard joined us. That was a Ballebro beach. Balle means (also) buttocks in Danish, so I showed them appropriately. The 16 km's to Bremsmaj were pleasantly interrupted by a Svaneke brown ale out of the bottle just opposite an inside vintage car display, where a Ford Consul 315, just like (except the upholstery) the one, our Dad had owned, when we were children. And so memories started to pour out.

After the arrival at our base camp of Bremsmaj Michael treated us with a delicious supper of mashed potaotes with chicken steaks and a bearnaise gravy.
