Character
Eight days of emergency cycling holiday, in case it is still impossible to go abroad in the second half of May 2021 due to travel restrictions in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
Planned as a trip eight days alone from Saturday to Saturday with one rest day and as a "wilderness trip" with accommodation at shelter sites in my tent and with primitive cooking.

Landscape
I never cycle far from the shore, so this will be a consistent feature of my tour. I begin with Lolland with a trip around Nakskov fjord and out on Albuen peninsula with flat salt marshes, then on the dike along the south coast with long sandy beaches and several dammed areas, which are used as intensively cultivated fields, primarily with sugar beets. Beautiful nature on Eastern Lolland along Guldborgsund with forests and salt marshes. Then over to the island of Falster, which I visited a couple of years ago, so I cycle straight across it from Nykoebing to Stubbekoebing. On the small islet of Bogoe, a special accommodation in Bogoe lighthouse awaits. On Moen, it will be more hilly, especially on Eastern Moen, where Moen's chalk cliffs will form the highlight of the trip in several ways and the place for my day of rest. Another specialty here will be the bird paradise of Ulvshale with the islet of Nyord off the tip. Via Bogoe and Falster I cycle back to Lolland, where I will visit the brewery Krenkerup in the large forests on Midtlolland. Here the large forested lakes around Maribo are characteristic. A final highlight will be the island of Femoe, which can be reached by ferry from Kragenaes on Northern Lolland. It is certainly characterized by agriculture, but also has room for nature. It is nationally known for its women's festival in the summer. The end will be the short trip across Langeland on the cross, just as it also forms the introduction. Prologue and epilogue one could call it.

Nykøbing Falster (originally named Nykøbing) is a southern Danish city, seat of the Guldborgsund kommune. It belongs toRegion Sjælland.
The city has a few noteworthy buildings, including a wooden house from 1580 and The Czar's House (Czarens Hus), which was built in 1700 and is probably the most famous monument in Nykøbing Falster. The latter building was named Czarens Hus in memory of Peter the Great, who stayed there in 1716.
Among the other interesting monuments in Nykøbing Falster, there is a 15th century castle with a medievalsiege-train. City inhabitants often walk in a people's park with an adjacent zoological garden.
Other attractions include:
- the City Museum (Bymuseet)
- the Old Shop (Den gamle butik).
