Cycle Tour Bike weekend 2021

The three brave cycling musketeers of ours on our fiery steeds this year conquer the peninsula of Kegnaes on southern Als under brother Bernhard's knowing leadership. He is assisted by his wife Anette, who drove him up on the island of Als' highest point, called Hoegebjerg, where the torture was to begin. Michael and I meet already in Fynshav after his biketrip from his home on northern Als and my prologue on the island of Funen. Michael has built himself a pedelec out of my discarded Kildemoes bike, so now he's offered some watts on top of his legs performance thanks to a motor and a battery on the frame. After a refreshment on the "mountain" (Hoegebjerg, and "bjerg" means "mountain" in Danish) we quickly ride our bikes down to Kegnaes, which has lowered its parades and bids the musketeers a happy welcome. The fort of 42 Flejmose in the appearance of a cozy cottage with an athmosphere of its own is easily captured, so we celebrate our victory with a few bottles of beer on the patio. Later Bernhard treats us with a delicious salmon dish with newly dug up potatoes. The remainder of the evening is devoted to solving the problems of the world until the small hours.
