Weather
Warm, but not hot weather with a lot of sun in between the clouds. Light headwind, which could be felt a couple of times on the dike.

Properties
Today more difficult to follow the cycle route than on the previous days, as we switched from the main route to an other option on the right bank. Gravel surface on the dike south of Duesseldorf. At one place the route sign missed totally, but we were helped by a local cyclist. Into the big city of Duesseldorf on a long, but comfortable road along the river and across a marvellous harbour bridge. Later a motorway bridge with bike lanes in either direction!
Remarks
Our bike holiday's fifth stage and the first in the four-day-stretch from Cologne to Rotterdam. The ferry across the Rhine at Kaiserswerth was out of service, why we had to do with the bike path-equipped motorway bridge. Luckily I knew it in advance, so no big detour.
