Weather
Another very warm and sunny day requiring huge amouts of water. In the morning and in the evening somewhat chilly, and the westerly headwind was significant after Arnhem.

Properties
In Germany we had the usual excellent mix of fine cycling paths on the dike and bumpy paths along medium roads. You feel generally safe. After the Dutch border cycling paradise begun. Special bicycle ferries serving bikers and pedestrians, and a system of "knotpoints" with perfect signposting, are a few of the benefits. Sometimes the bike lanes along the roads, however, were quite narrow. But mostly paths run in a separate layout, excellently signposted and maintained. Separate bicycle traffic lights in towns and cities work super. All in all, Holland is Europe's bicycle paradise.
Remarks
The sixth stage and the third of four stages of the four-day-stretch from Cologne to Rotterdam. We cross the Dutch border and the middle point of the bike holiday. Thus it's now shorter to Amsterdam than to Wiesbaden.
