Weather

In the morning cloudy but dry. In the afternoon rain, but after our arrival to Scuol we had sunshine and somewhat wamrer than higher up in the valley. In the evening it rained again, but we had dry weather on our walk into town.

Properties

First a bette bike trail to Susch and Lavin. From there a long ascent on fairly good gravel to Guarda. The last part was tarmac and really steep. Descent on tarmac to Ardez, from there again a long, but not as steep ascent to the village of Ftan. Steep descent on tarmac with many hairpin bends to the small town of Scuol.

Remarks

The only real mountain stage of our bike holiday, luckily rather short. We are situated in the Upper Engadin valley of the Swiss canton of Graubünden/Grischun/Grigioni (three languages, German, Rhaeto-Romanic and Italian are spoken here).
