Weather
Until about 4 pm. very warm and sunny weather. But then we were struck by a thunderstorm. When it had passed, the weather turned quite chilly, but mostly dry. During night extensive rain.

Properties
The Swiss national cycle route no. 2 on this stretch runs on minor roads, small gravel paths and on bike lanes along roads. Several demanding climbs and descents.

Remarks
The day starts with a 6 km detour to the bike repair shop at Rabius in order to attend to Simon's brakes.
We make a little detour to the viewing platform of Islabord in order to enjoy the view on the Rhine canyon Rhinaulta.
