Properties
Some trouble with finding the beginning of the bike route from the ferry port of Vuosaari to Helsinki's central parts. Mostly separated bike path, along motorways and trunk roads on bridges, but quietly running along the coastline on peninsulas and islands. In heavy traffic in the centre of Helsinki. In Hanko a residential street ended up a closed road, så I wheeled my bike along a disused railway line to the road to the camp site.
Remarks
At last I'm in Finland! The ferry docks at the large ferry port of Vuosaari, about 18 km east of Helsinki city centre. Short winding bike trip, and I'm there. The day is spent in the city centres parks and squares before the short trip to Helsinki central station and the train ride to Hanko with interchange at Lohja. I got off at Hanko Pohjoinen (North) and rolled the last bit out to Silversand camp site at the sea side.
