Properties

A couple of trips into Hanko town centre on bike lanes along major roads and on tarmaced town roads. Forest paths on a trip out Tulliniemi in a quest for Finland's southernmost point on the tip of the Tulliniemi peninsula, the last part on foot on a small path and through deep sand.

Remarks

The first rest day in Finland and the last day before the real norhtbound departure. The day spent resting on the beach at the camp site and two trips into town, the first in order to make it to Finland's southernmost point, but my progress on Tulliniemi was halted by a fence across the peninsula with a 'no entry' sign. Then some sightseeing in Hanko town centre and a walk on the 'love path' out to some military fortifications (!). In the evening I watched football (Chamions league final) in a large bar at the Eastern harbour. Very late indeed before I got home to bed!
