Auf der Piste Cyclable Roger Lapébie Kilometer-Angaben bis Bordeaux, aber weder V80 noch EV3 ausgeschildert.

An einem Streckenabschnitt mit 0,3 km (0,3%) war die Oberfläche nicht asphaltiert. Der Abschnitt hat eine nicht aufbereitete Oberfläche mit durchschnittlicher Qualität.

Das Frühstück heute war einfach, Croissants, Baguette, zwei Sorten Marmelade, Kaffee.
Die gestern Abend bereits geschlossene ehemalige Prioreikirche war heute zu besichtigen. Der Kirchenraum ist sehr groß, aber sehr schlicht ausgestattet.
Wir radeln durch die Altstadt zurück und hinunter zum Ufer der Garonne. Auf der doch ordentlich befahrenen Department-Straße radeln wir zunächst unweit des Flusses talabwärts, dann aber schon sehr bald auf Nebenstraßen weiter. In Gironde sur Dropt steht die Route mehrfach im Konflikt mit der Einbahnstraßenregelung.

Wenig später wird es hügelig. Die Weinanbauflächen werden häufiger. Auch die romanischen Kirchen sind des Öfteren zu sehen. Von denen, die am Weg liegen, ist aber leider keine geöffnet.

Der kleine Ort Sauveterre, der aus einer Bastide hervorgegangen ist, ist einen Besuch wert. Um den Marktplatz reihen sich Geschäfte, Cafés und Restaurants.

Hinter dem Ort fängt die Piste Cyclable Roger Lapébie an, die in 55 km bis kurz vor Bordeaux führt. Es ist eine ehemalige Bahntrasse, die hervorragend ausgebaut ist.

Auf dem glatten Asphaltbelag rollen wir bei kleinen Steigungen den ersten von vier Anstiegen hinauf. Die Weinfelder sind jetzt allgegenwärtig und reichen teilweise bis zum Horizont. An den höheren Stellen werden sie von Wäldern abgelöst.

Einzige nennenswerte Sehenswürdigkeit am Weg ist die Abtei La Sauve-Majeure. Die als Welterbe gelistete Abtei ist eine Ruine.
Nach dem höchsten Anstieg machen wir einen Abstecher nach Creon. Der Ort ist ebenso wie Sauveterre auf eine Bastide zurückzuführen uns ähnelt in seiner Struktur Sauveterre. Bei Creon sehen wir die letzten Weinfelder des Tages.

Hinter Creon geht es nur noch bergab, überwiegend durch Wald.
Am Ufer der Garonne verläuft der Radweg flussnah und durchweg auf einer eigenen Spur. So kommen wir sicher bis zur Garonne-Brücke und über diese nach Bordeaux.

Bordeaux ist sehr lebhaft, um 21 Uhr wimmelte die Stadt noch von Menschen. Viele Straßenrestaurants, Bistros und Bars. Viele schön angestrahlte Gebäude.
