Über Straßen an der Südseite der Lahn in den Stadtteil Eschhofen. Von dort südwärts auf dem hessischen R8 durch das Tal des Emsbaches oft in der Nähe der zweigleisigen elektrifizierten alten Bahnstrecke Limburg - Wiesbaden landschaftlich kleinteilig über Bad Camberg nach Idstein mit einem Gegengefälle. Die lärmende A3 führt gegenüber an der westlichen Talseite entlang. Kurz hinter Idstein der höchste Punkt mit für Taunus-Verhältnisse erträglichen 350 m NN. Hinter Königshofen paar km unangenehm über stark befahrene Straßen ohne Radweg. Abfahrt über Waldweg, dann durch Agrarsteppe nach WI-Igstadt mit Wasserturm und sehr schön durch das kleine Tal des Wäschbachs. Zum Schluss etwas Zickzack durchden Dyckerhoff Kalkabbau und die Stadt zum Bf. WI-Biebrich.
Von dort mit SE10 rechtsrheinisch und RE5 via Koblenz HBF nach D-Flughafen. Viele Haltpunkte und Döfer im Rheingau; bizarrer Bf. Rüdesheim zwischen Altstadt und Ufer eingeklemmt.
