Am Spanischen Nationalfeiertag dem Fest Virgen del Pilar fahren wir nichts ahnend nach Leon, wo alles voll ist!
Um eine Schotterpiste zu vermeiden, fahren wir eine Straße die bei einer riesigen Mülldeponie endet. Von dort geht es durch nette Eichenwälder ,einem abgezäunten Jagdgebiet für Wildschweine, entlang auch Schotterpiste bergauf und bergab! Die Gegend wirkt sehr ausgestorben, wie im Wilden Westen.
In Virgen de Camino erleben wir daher noch das Ende eines lebendigen Festes.
Aber Quartier bekommen wir gerade noch in der größten Herberge
"Albergue Santa Maria de Carbajal" in einem Benediktinerinnenkloster mit 135 Betten!
Und hier beginnen viele Spanier ihren Camino Franches! Eine ziemliche andere Erfahrung!
