Truro (Cornish: Truru) is a small cathedral city (population 22,000) in the Duchy of Cornwall, of which it is the administrative capital.
Understand
Queen Victoria herself designated Truro a city in 1876, but it would be fairer to describe it as a large town.

- ⊙Truro Cathedral (The Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Truro), 14 St Mary's St, TR1 2AF, ☎ +44 1872 276782. Mon-Sat: 7:30am-5:00pm, Sun: noon-4:00pm, Bank Holiday: 9:30am-5:00pm. Only completed in 1910. There is a disabled ramp at the entrance and a disabled restroom near the restaurant. Free admission, but £5 donations recommended for upkeep.
