Das Rheinland-Pfälzische Freilichtmuseum in Bad Sobernheim 
ist ein mittelgroßes Freilandmuseum .
Vier vollständige Dörfer wurden hier aufgebaut, um das einstige Dorfleben in den verschiedenen Regionen des Landes Rheinland-Pfalz zu demonstrieren. Die vier Dörfer, für die insgesamt 36 historische Gebäude an verschiedenen Standorten ab- und originalgetreu wieder aufgebaut wurden, stehen für die Regionen Hunsrück/Nahe, Mittelrhein/Westerwald, Mosel/Eifel sowie Rheinhessen/Pfalz.

Hours of opening:
vom 17.03. bis 03.11.2013:
täglich außer montags 9.00-18.00 Uhr (letzter Einlass um 17.00 Uhr)
Von Juni bis August, an Feiertagen sowie in den Schulferien von Rheinland-Pfalz ist das Museum auch montags geöffnet!
