Remarks
The day begins for me at the surgeon general in Stein, who rinses my ear an prescribes ear drops. Lunch in Schaffhausen (a hot dog in the pedestrian street), where we have a look at the ancient cathedral and I have to replace the inner tube of my rear wheel after another puncture. We go on to Neuhausen with the rather impressive water fall in the Rhine. We walk across the bridge to the castle of Laufen and back. New heat record: 40°C on the thermometer of my GPS. Supper at the roadside after a purchase of two cans of ravioli, which we empty eating black bread with it. Late arrival at the camp site of Waldshut, where I have swim in the Rhine in a strong current. Afterwards we have a few beers at a pub sitting outside. It's still hot. I'm stung by a wasp. My ear is already better, and I sleep quite well.
