Obwohl es Rhone abwärts geht, gibt es immer wieder Steigungen. In Brig war die Innenstadt wegen einem Radrennen gesperrt. Weiter ging es teilweise auf dem Rhonedamm über Visp, Sierre nach Sion. Nach dem Stadtbummel noch eine Kaffeepause, bevor es weiter ging zum Campingplatz bei Saillon.
