Noch ein Stück weiter auf Eisenbahnstrecke, dann Fahrradweg am Rand von Bad Hersfeld. Weiter über ziemlich flache Strecken, kleine Dörfer, wenig befahrene Landstrassen und Fahrradwege und durch Landwirtschaftsgebiet. In der Ferne zeigt sich der erste schneeweisse Salzberg. Interessanter Museumsbesuch im Werra-Kali-Bergbaumuseum in Heringen. Hotelsuche etwas schwierig, weil viel ausgebucht oder geschlossen.
