Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein und 20 Grad wurden wir wach. Das Schloss lachte uns vom Berg an , den wir gleich als erstes wieder erklimmen mussten. Nach der Hälfte der Anhöhe machten wir eine kleine Pause und besuchten den Innenhof des Schlosses.

Dann ging es weiter bergauf. Kaum in Österreich kamen wir bei Heufurth an einem Picknickplatz mit frischem Trinkwasser und Licht vorbei. Wo Licht ist ist auch Strom. Wir haben die Steckdosen für die Aussenbereichfluter mal ausgeliehen und laden die Akkus nach. Bis 12:00 Uhr, da nimmt einer von uns jeden Tag seine Pille. Zwischenzeitlich vertrieben wir uns die Zeit mit Datteln auf dem Handy. Dann wollen wir weiter.

Wir haben es geschafft. Eine schwere Tagesetappe: ständig starker Gegenwind und 30-34°C. Das zweite Nachladen beim verspäteten Mittagessen in Guntersdorf im Gasthaus an der Kreuzung hat uns gerettet. Sogar mein Akku war wegen des Gegenwindes zum Mittagessen fast leer.
In der Tschechei war das Fahren auf den Landstraßen total entspannt. Hier in Österreich kriegst den A... abgefahren: mit 140 und 0,5m Abstand. Ich dachte, ich wäre auf der Autobahn. Und überall LKW, welche die Maut sparen wollen. Nach der Essenspause fuhren wir lieber 5 km Umweg, dafür auf Radwegen, Wirtschaftswegen etc.
