Der römisch-katholische Mariä-Empfängnis-Dom in Linz, auch Mariä Empfängnis Dom, Mariendom und Neuer Dom genannt, wurde 1855 durch den Linzer Bischof Franz Joseph Rudigier aus Dank für die Bulle Ineffabilis Deus vom 8. Dezember 1854 veranlasst.

1862 erfolgte die Grundsteinlegung, 1924 wurde der Dom von Bischof Johannes Maria Gföllner schließlich als Marienkirche geweiht.

Als größte Kirche Österreichs bietet der 1924 fertig gestellte „Neue Dom“ Platz für ca. 20.000 Personen.
